Hardening
This service aims at increasing the IT structure protection level.
The IT structure hardening covers two primary areas of operation:
operation systems
- the service covers activities aiming at increasing the general safety level of the systems and elimination of the most frequent gaps and configuration weaknesses that are found in the majority of default installations,
- penetration tests performed earlier can serve as the basis for hardening,
- depending on the subject of the analysis (web server, e-mail server, VPN concentrator, etc.),specific sets of tests and activities appropriate for a particular case are performed.
telecommunication networks
- this service aims at elimination of the most frequent errors made during configuration of network devices that make it possible to attack a part of or the entire infrastructure of the Client,
- due to the nature of the problem, network hardening should be a result of the analysis based on performed penetration tests, although, in special cases, it can include just testing correctness of configuration of particular or key network elements.
